Krueger, Augusta (19 January 1875 - 22 October 1956)

Mrs. Augusta Krueger, 81, of Milwaukee, formerly a Greenwood resident, died October 22, in her sleep at the home of her daughter in Milwaukee.

The body was brought to the Georgas Funeral Home, where services were conducted Wednesday.  The Rev. Arthur Oswald had charge and the burial took place in the Weston Cemetery at Christie.

Mrs. Krueger was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uhlman, being born January 19, 1875, at Ashippun, Dodge County.  She received her education in the schools of Ashippun.  Her marriage to Charles Krueger took place in Dodge County, where they resided for a few years.  They later moved to a farm in Clark County.  Mr. Krueger died in 1913 and Mrs. Krueger continued to live on the farm which her sons operated.  Last July she went to Milwaukee to live with her daughter, Mrs. Mike Trampala.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mike (Julia) Trampala, Milwaukee; and two sons, Harvey and Walter Krueger on the home farm; three sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren.

Two sisters, two brothers and her husband preceded her in death.

Pallbearers were Frank Zickert, Christ Maser, Everett Shaw, Calvin Mills, Milton Pagelsdorf and Mike Trampala.
