Seelow, Janet Carole (Marriage - 8 October 1955) 
 

The Rev. Albert Guthmiller officiated at the marriage of Miss Janet Carole Seelow of S. Milwaukee and Richard Harrington of S. Milwaukee on Saturday, October 8.  The double ring ceremony was performed at 2 p.m. at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church at Neillsville before an altar banked with fall flowers. 
 

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Seelow, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Harrington, all of Neillsville. 
 

As the bride approached the altar on the arm of her father she wore a gown fashioned with a white Chantilly lace waist and a full net overskirt over white taffeta.  Seed pearls and sequins trimmed the gown.  She carried a bouquet of white mums and yellow roses. 
 

Miss Beverly Seelow was her sister’s maid of honor.  Jean Johnson and Isabelle Cieczka were her bridesmaids. 
 

Morris Johnson served the groom as best man.  Ushers were William Seelow, Jr., and Ivan Wiest. 
 

Approximately 150 guests attended the reception held at the Legion Memorial Hall, which was decorated in white and green streamers, wedding bells and cut flowers. 
 

On their return from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin the new Mr. and Mrs. Harrington will reside at 1500 Milwaukee Ave., So. Milwaukee. 
 

The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School and is employed by the Line Material Co. as a typist clerk. The groom is also a graduate of the local high school and works for the Ladish Co. of Cudahy.  
 

Out of town relatives attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Zink, Miss Isabelle Cieczka, Ivan Wiest, all of S. Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Seelow, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Schnabel, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Glass, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Krejci, Willard; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schoengarth, Greenwood; Ellis Jacklin, Marshfield; Mrs. Ester Peterson and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Britz, N. Chicago; Mrs. John Oliver and Gale , Reedstown, Wis.; Wayne Hall, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Strader, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Cleveland and son, Mr. and Mrs. James Brown, all of Augusta; Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Decker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Decker, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Mayenschen, Mac Butler, Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Cad Hall and family, Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Lighthizer and family, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lighthizer and children, Augusta.
