Lenz, Minnie (13 June 1887 - 9 June 1955) 
 

Mrs. Minnie (Fred) Lenz, age 68, of Neillsville, R3 died Thursday, June 9, at the farm home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Albrecht in the Town of Hewett. 
 

Funeral services were conducted Satruday, June 11, 1955, from the Georgas Funeral Home.  The Rev. John H. Jacklin officiated.  Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Lenz was born June 13, 1887, in Germany to Herman and Lena (Hein) Dux.  She came to the United States with her parents when she was two years old. The family located on a farm in the Town of Seif, where she attended the rural schools.  Her marriage to Fred Lenz took place March 17, 1903, at Neillsville. After their marriage they made their home on a farm in the Town of Weston.  Following the death of her husband in January, 1955, she made her home with her only daughter, Mrs. Albrecht. 
 

She is survived by her daughter, Martha Albrecht, one grandson, Lewis; two sisters: Mrs. Frank (Meta) Lang of Willard and Mrs. Henry (Martha) Wasserburger, Neillsville; one brother, Emil Dux of Neillsville; one half-sister, mrs. Arthur (Edith) Schoengarth, and one half-brother, Albert Menning, both of Willard. 
 

Pallbearers were: Arno Durst, Edward and Fred Pollnow, Henry Stiemke, Charles Marden and Henry Collins. 
 

Singers were: Mrs. William Meihack, Mrs. Thone Karnitz, Miss Elaine Strangfeld and Miss Caroline Marg, accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Karnitz. 
 

Relatives from out of town attending services were: Mr. and Mrs. Manley Walker, Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Collins and Henry Collins, Humbird; Mr. and Mrs. William Tullett, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Thiel, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Thiel, Ripon; Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Dollaven, St. Paul.
