Sabin, Kitty  (27 NOV 1946)

 

An announcement has been received by C. C. Taylor of the marriage of his brother, the Rev. Myron E. Taylor, a recent pastor of the Methodist churc here, to Miss Kitty Sabin of Boscobel, at Park Avenue Methodist church in Minneapolis at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27. Miss Sabin resigned her position of teacher in the Minneapolis schools, and Mr. and Mrs. Taylor will spend the winter in Texas, where he will be engaged in evangelistic work. En route they visited Mrs. Taylor’s parents at Boscobel and the Rev. Taylor’s son at Elkhart Lake, Ind.

 

The marriage of Miss Kitty Sabins of Boscobel to the Rev. Myron E. Taylor of Winona Lake. Ind., has recently been announced. The marriage took place in the Park Avenue church of Minneapolis on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

 

Both Miss Sabins and Rev. Taylor are well known to many Wisconsin people. Miss Sabins has her Bachelor of Science degree from Plattville State Teachers college and has taken graduate work in the University of Minnesota. She has many years of experience as a successful teacher in the Boscobel and Baraboo public schools and more recently has been teaching in the Minneapolis public schools.

 

Rev. Taylor has his Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern university and his Doctor of Divinity degree from Ohio Northern university. He is a member of the West Wisconsin conference of the Methodist church,  where he has served for many years as a pastor and as conference evangelist. He has recently gone from the pastorate at Loyal, back into evangelistic work, being associated with Mr. and Mrs. Howard L. Fleming, who were with him in his early evangelistic career.

 

Rev. and Mrs. Taylor are now on their way to Texas where they will spend the winter in evangelistic work. Their permanent address will be General Delivery, Mission Lake, Ind., which city will be their permanent headquarters.
