Stacke, Phyllis (Marriage - 13 Dec. 1958) 
 

Wedding vows were exchanged Saturday between Miss Phyllis Stacke and Peter Brant, in Christ Lutheran church before the altar, adorned with lighted tapers and poinsettias. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler read the double ring service at 1:30 o’clock, during which Herbert Juneau played and sang, "The Lord’s Prayer" and "Because." 
 

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Stacke, Route 1, Curtiss, and Mrs. Molly Summy and John Brant of Waukesha.  
 

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, appeared in a floor length gown of white lace over satin, styled with long, tapered sleeves, and a Sabrina neckline. A cummerbund, tied around the waist ended in a train. A tiara of seed pearls and sequins held her finger tip veil. She carried a lace covered prayer book on which was placed a white orchid. 
 

Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ruud, friends of the bride, of West Allis. Miss Joyce Newlun, another friend, of Milwaukee, was bridesmaid. Miss Dawn Stacke, a sister, and Miss Kathleen Krueger, a cousin, served as junior bridesmaids, and Miss Nancy Laabs, another cousin, was flower girl. 
 

Robert Stacke, the bride’s brother, was groomsman and Wesley Revie, the bride’s cousin, and Miles Brant, the groom’s brother, were ushers. 
 

The matron of honor and bridesmaid wore floor length dresses of iridescent green taffeta and small white hats with face veils. The junior bridesmaids and flower girls, in dressed of parfar taffeta, wore natural pompons in their hair. They all carried baskets of yellow, white and bronze pompons.  
 

Mrs. Stacke chose a dress of emerald green delustered satin and white accessories for her daughter’s wedding. The groom’s mother wore navy blue crepe and black accessories, and both mothers had corsages of yellow tea roses. Pink and white carnations were combined for the corsages of Mrs. Paul Woik of Owen, and Mrs. Augusta Stacke of Curtiss, grand mothers of the bride. 
 

About 150 guests attended the reception at the home of the bride’s parents and a supper in the church basement. In the evening, a wedding dance was held at Memorial hall, Dorchester. 
 

Guests at the festivities were from Milwaukee, West Allis, Waukesha, Dorchester, Owen, Curtiss, and Abbotsford. 
 

The new Mr. and Mrs. Brant are making their home in West Allis. The bride is employed at Wisconsin Motors and the groom is a machine operator.
