Beard, Beverly M. (Marriage - 19 July 1958)

Mr. and Mrs. Virgil C. Lueth will make their home at Humbird where he will teach in the elementary school.

The marriage of Miss Beverly M. Beard, of Westboro, and Virgil C. Lueth took place July 19 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church, Curtiss, at which the Rev. Theodore Predoehl officiated.

For her wedding the bride chose a ballerina lenth gown of white lace and net. Her veil was held by a crown of pearls and she carried a bouquet of red and white roses.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. James Nelson, of Rockford, Ill., brother-in-law and sister of the groom. Miss Sharon Knight, bridesmaid, and Miss Rosella Lueth, junior bridesmaid, and Keith Beard, the bride’s brother, completed the bridal party.

Arnold Lueth and Douglas Beard acted as ushers.

The bride’s attendants wore ballerina length gowns with lace bodices and skirts of net and lace over taffeta. They carried bouquets of white and tinted carnations to match their gowns. Yellow was chosen for the matron of honor and mint green for the bridesmaids.

A reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fielder Lueth. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Ivan K. Beard, of Westboro.

The groom is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school and Taylor County Teachers’ College. The bride, also a graduate of Taylor County Teachers’ College, taught the Fawn Valley school at Rib Lake, before her marriage.
