Norman was born Sept. 13, 1925, in Chicago, the son of Quentin and Jennie (Olson) Denney. He graduated from Fenger High School followed by Wheaton College in Illinois. Norman was united in marriage to the former Aurora Anderson on Oct. 11, 1947, at the Parkwood Baptist Church in Chicago, Ill. He worked as a design engineer for Waukesha Motor Company. In later life, with help from Aurora, Norman fulfilled a dream by starting a dairy farm in the Chili area.

Mr. Denney was a member of Calvary Bible Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher, Awana leader and choir member. Norman was also a member of a men's quartet. He enjoyed deer hunting, woodworking and carpentry. Norman especially enjoyed his volunteer work at Crescent Lake Bible Camp, where he served as a camp counselor.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Aurora Denney of Marshfield; his children, Nancy (Daniel) Schmidt of Waukesha and Janice (David) Cattanach of Lindsey. He is further survived by a sister, Myrtle Caliendo of Downers Grove, Ill.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He will truly be missed.

In addition to his parents, Quentin and Jennie, Norman was also preceded in death by his son, David Denney, and two grandsons Joshua Schmidt and Kinzie Cattanach.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mr. Denney's name may do so to: Rural Bible Crusade or the Crescent Lake Bible Camp.
