Garbisch, Emilie (2 January 1871 - 10 October 1952) 
 

Mrs. David Garbisch, 81, died at her home on the William Seehafer farm October 10.  The body lay in state at the Gilbertson Funeral Home until Monday when it was taken to the Zion Lutheran Church, where services were conducted.  Interment was made in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. John Jacklin officiated. 
 

Mrs. Garbisch was born Emilie Uhlhorn on January 2, 1871, at Plymouth, Wis.  She spent her girlhood days there and on January 9, 1889, she was married to David Garbisch at Plymouth. They purchased a farm two miles east of Granton and lived there until 1928, when they moved to a small home on the farm of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Seehafer, where they spent their remaining days. 
 

Mrs. Garbisch was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.  She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Paul (Nelda) Goebel, Mrs. John (Lily) Gluch of Granton, Edmund Garbisch of Milwaukee, Mrs. William (Clara) Seehafer of Marshfield; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.   
 

One son, Alfred, died in infancy; one brother, one sister and her husband preceded her in death. 
 

Pallbearers were: Don Seehafer, Ray Gluch, Martin Krause, Aubrey Schultz, Lloyd Riedel and Clifford Riedel.
