Alfred Hebert witnessed the marriage ceremony and officiated at the
nuptial mass Wednesday, June 27, at 9 a.m. in St. Mary’s
Catholic church, Auburndale, of Miss Jeanette Rose Ertl and Donald
Anthony Pecher. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael
Ertl, Auburndale and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John
bride’s floor-length gown was styled with a lace bodice and
bouffant skirt. Hand-cut Alencon lace was appliquéd on the
sleeves, and a scroll detailed the tulle skirt. A pancake
headpiece, with a sparkling border outlining the brim, held the
veil of illusion net. Red roses and white carnations made up the
Salzman, route 1, Milladore, was her sister’s matron of
honor, and Miss Virginia Apfelbeck, Colby and Miss Theresa
Grosbier, Auburndale, were bridesmaids. They wore headpieces of
braid entwined with iridescent beading, and carried bouquets of
bride wore a dress styled like those worn by the other attendants.
The top was made of shirred lace and had net ruffles at the neck
and shoulders. She wore a matching headpiece. Her partner was
Dennis Pecher, Abbotsford, brother of the groom.
Salzman, Milladore, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man and
Clarence Pecher, Abbotsford, cousin of the groom, and Jerome Ertl,
Auburndale, brother of the bride, acted as groomsman. Ushers were
Kenneth Ertl, Auburndale, cousin of the bride, and Duane
Felzkowski, Athens, cousin of the groom.
bride’s mother chose a dress of navy blue eyelet over pink
taffeta, accented with pink accessories.
attended the wedding from Athens, Colby, Abbotsford, Marshfield,
Milladore, Merrill, Wausau, Stratford, Spencer, Greenwood, Loyal,
Milan, Rozellville, Bakerville, and West Allis.
The young people will make their home at route 1, Abbotsford, where the groom is engaged in farming.
