Miss Winifred Noonan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Noonan, was among a class of 26 postulants who received the garb of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration at the St. Rose Convent at La Crosse, Aug. 12, Her name is Sister Amelda. 
 

Following the religious profession, a reception was held. Attending the ceremonies were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Noonan, Abbotsford, and all of her brothers and sisters: Miss Rosemary and Charles Noonan, of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. James Noonan and three children, Ayrshire, Ia.; Mrs. Ed Mangan, Chicago; Mrs. John Rauschl and three children, La Crosse; and Mr. and Mrs. John Mikottis and family, Greenwood. The Rev. Raymond Schulz, her pastor, also attended.
