Neitsch, Amalia (27 AUG 1866 - 1 JAN 1953)

 

Mrs. Fred Neitsch, 87, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), died of complications at 9 o’clock Friday morning in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

 

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Congregational Church at Curtiss.  The Rev. H. D. Wagner officiated and burial took place in the Pine Hill Cemetery.

 

Serving as pallbearers were six great-grandsons.  Floral offerings were in charge of Mrs. Mae Scidmore, Mrs. Floyd Buchanan and Mrs. Harry Laabs.

 

Mrs. Neitsch, formerly Amalia Pablas, was born Aug. 27, 1866 in Germany.  She was married to Fred W. Neitsch in Bracerville, Ill., on Aug. 22, 1882.  She was a resident of Curtiss for the last 22 years, and a member of the Missionary Society and the Ladies Aid Society of the Congregational Church.

 

She is survived by a daughter, one brother, three grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Her husband preceded her in death.
