Mahoney, Jean S. #2 (12 DEC 1953)

Now residing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, are Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Peter Pabich who were married in a double ring ceremony performed at nine o’clock Saturday morning before the altar of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen.  The couple repeated the Nuptial vows before Rev. Fr. Hubert Crubel.

Mrs. Pabich is the former Jean Suzanne Mahoney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Mahoney, city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), while her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter A. Pabich of Thorp (Clark Co.).

The couple were attended by her sister, Mrs. Emery Erickson, matron of honor and the groom’s brother, Jerome, served as best man.  Mr. Emery Erickson, Owen, brother-in-law of the bride and Raymond Ammentorp, Withee, acted as ushers.

Mrs. Pabich was beautifully attired in a ballerina length gown of Chantilly lace over blue taffeta topped with a jacket of the same material.  Her veil of nylon net was caught to a white satin headband studded with pearls and she wore white satin slippers.  She carried a lovely bridal bouquet of white orchids with stephanotis along with a white Mother of Pearl Prayer Book which was a gift of the groom.

Mrs. Erickson, matron of honor, wore a dress of delft blue nylon net, over blue taffeta which had a jacket of the same material and wore matching slippers.  Her only jewelry was a string of white pearls and she wore a corsage of white and copper baby mums.

At half after eleven o’clock that forenoon a breakfast and reception was held at the Woodland Hotel where the newlyweds received 65 guests.

Mrs. Pabich is a graduate of the Owen High School and for a couple of years has been employed in the office of the Master Package Corp.  Her husband was a graduate from the Thorp school system, served in the armed forces, and for the past several winters has been employed in Florida and then during the summer months does construction work in this community.

Their host of friends in the Owen and Thorp communities extend them their sincere best wishes in this sacred union.
