He is survived by his parents, Kurt and Michelle (Jabs) Grajkowski, his sister Kara and brother Creighton, his maternal great-grandmother Carol Krueger, his paternal great-grandfather John LaGasse, his paternal grandparents Ed and Lois Grajkowski and his maternal grandparents Carla and Grant Guildner, and Bill and Avis Jabs, his uncles and aunts: Michael Jabs, Karl and Cindy Grajkowski, Lisa and Jeff Barth, Michelle Martin and many other loving great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins that play an important role in our lives and would have in his, too.

Family and friends called from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009 at St. Dennis Catholic Church, 413 Dempsey Rd. Madison where a funeral mass took place at 7:00 p.m. with Father Kent Schmitt and Deacon David Hendrickson presiding. Entombment took place at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 3054 Hwy BB.  In lieu of flowers a memorial fund in Caden’s name will be established for St. Dennis’s School and St. Mary’s Birthing Center.

Caden’s parents and grandparents would like to personally thank all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison for their care and compassion in this extremely difficult time.  "Lisa and Andrea, you truly have become part of our family."

"Caden Joshua has touched many lives in the nine months leading up to his birth.  His memory will live forever in the hearts of his family and their friends.  We will love and miss you forever, Caden.  The stars shine a little brighter now that you are with God."
