Jarvis, Lenore (30 Jan 1946)

Wearing a lime green dressmaker suit with brown accessories, Miss Lenore Jarvis, daughter of George Jarvis of Wausau, formerly of Loyal, became the bride of Victor Steffeck, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Steffeck of Merrill, on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

The couple was married at St. James church in Wausau by the Rev. John Trant, assistant pastor. Miss Doris Kandutsch of Wausau sang Shurbert’s "Ave Marie," and several other selections, including "On This Day, O Beautiful Mother," "O Lord, I Am Not Worthy" and "Jesus, My Lord, My God."

Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Jarvis of Wausau, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, and Miss Rosemary Steffeck and Lawrence Steffeck of Merrill, sister and brother of the bridegroom, attended the couple.

Mrs. Jarvis was attired in a cocoa-brown dressmaker suit, with which she wore lime green and brown accessories. Both had corsage bouquets of roses and pompoms.

Following a luncheon, served to 25 guests at the Hotel Wausau, the couple departed on an eastern trip. After Feb. 15, they will be at home to friends at 624 Winton street, Wausau.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
