Koerner, Mr./Mrs. Oscar (25th Anniv. - 18 July 1953) 
 

The silver wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Koerner occurred Saturday, July 18, and on Sunday, a celebration was held in their honor at their home, with a dinner at noon. The dining room was decorated with silver streamers and wedding bells and the centerpiece was a four-tiered wedding cake and two bouquets of roses and carnations. The honored couple received many lovely gifts and silver. 
 

Mrs. Koerner, the former Dorothy Untiedt, was born at Davenport, Iowa, and came to Abbotsford with her parents at the age of 11. 
 

Mr. Koerner was born and raised at Curtiss. They were married at Colby, July 18, 1928, and have since resided on a farm one mile south and three and one-quarter miles west of Dorchester. Mr. Koerner is also a livestock buyer for Oscar Mayer & Company. 
 

They have three children: Mrs. Carl (Betty) Bloom, of West Bend, and Donald and Carol, at home. There are three grand children, David, Diane, and Janice Bloom, of West Bend.
