Mrs. Alda Sommers is spending some time with her daughter, Mrs. Walter Buchschlager at Withee. Miss Elsie Hoeft is taking her place at the Arlyn Brunkhorst home. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Prahl have returned to Brookings, South Dakota, after spending a week with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ziebarth. 
 

Mrs. August Weideman is spending several days with her daughter, Mrs. Alvin Lindberg. Her grand daughter, Mrs. Bernard Kunze, has been with Mr. Kunze at Victory hospital, Stanley, since he was hurt in a motorcycle accident Sunday. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Earl spent Wednesday afternoon with relatives at Owen. 
 

The family of Mr. and Mrs. William Fahrenbach had a gathering and picnic at their home at Curtiss on July 4. Among those present were Miss Bernice Fahrenbach, St. Paul; Mr. and Mrs. Wade Wredmond, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Schraufnagel, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Alexander, Mrs. Alice Schraufnagel, and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Lieders, all of Abbotsford; and Mr. and Mrs. William Fahrenbach and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fahrenbach and family, Curtiss. 
 

Mrs. Fred Worcek, Athens, visited Mrs. Regina Ellenbecker, Thursday morning. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. John Henry and three children came Friday night to visit her grand mother, Mrs. George Barker. Mr. Henry left Wednesday to return to St. Louis. Mrs. Henry and children will remain until July 22. 
 

Tech Sgt. and Mrs. Loren Bates and two children, Topeka, Kansas, came Friday night and will be here about two weeks. They are staying at the Clint Bates and Mrs. George Barker homes. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Neal Ridderbusch and three children came from Bremerton, Washington, Wednesday and are residing on the Tischendorf farm, one-half mile east of Dorchester corner. Mr. Ridderbusch plans to go into the painting and decorating business in this territory.  
 

Mr. and Mrs. Don Moberg and family of Marinette, spent the week end of the Fourth with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sebold, at Dorchester, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Moberg. Their daughter, Sandy, remained for a longer visit.
