Greene, Sandy L. (8 December 1944 - 15 August 2009)

 

Sandy Greene 64, of Neillsville passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at her home following a brief illness. 

 

Sandra L. Greene was born Dec. 8, 1944, in Norwood, OH, the daughter of William Alfred and Elizabeth Frances (Clark) York.  She moved to New Jersey in 1969 and lived there for almost 30 years before moving to Clark County in 1997. Sandra was president and executive director and founder of Full Circle Companies and had more than 38 years of experience.

 

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Greene of North Brunswick, NJ, Amy (Shannon) Melvin of Neillsville and Carey (Eileen) Hoffman of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, Noble and Rowan Melvin and Nikki and Emily Hoffman.  Sandy is also survived by her friend and former spouse, Charles Greene of Neillsville; a brother, Douglas (Judy) York of Pringle, SD; and three sisters, Claudia Hamblin, Debbie York and Terrie Ross, all of Cincinnati, OH.
 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; a daughter, Cheryl; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Hamblin.
 

Sandra taught her friends and family that "nice matters" and lived that faithfully throughout her life.

 

A Memorial Service celebrating Sandy’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at the Living Hope Evangelical Free Church.  Pastor Joe Weiers and Heath Erickson will officiate.  Music will be provided by Sandra’s dear friends. Family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
