Neff, Frank C. (30 DEC 1883 - 8 MAY 1952)

 

Frank Clark Neff who has resided for years with his brother, Earl, in the Town of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.), suffered a paralytic stroke Sunday, May 4th and passed away on the 8th, at his brother’s home.  Funeral services were conducted from Griebenow’s Funeral Home at two p.m., Sunday, May 11th, 1952.  Rev. W. D. Wagner officiated and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Otto Meinholdt, Tony Ciszewski, George Wnukowski, Joe Adams, Earnest Buss and Ed Franz.  Those in charge of the floral offerings included Rose Ciszewski, Marlene Hodnett, Merna Meinholdt and Shirley Moen.

 

Frank Clark Neff was born Dec. 30, 1883 in Ledyard, Wis., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Neff.  He was 68 years, 4 months and 8 days at the time of death.

 

He had aided his brother on his farm in the Town of Longwood since 1936.  Prior to that date he worked as a road constructionist and railroad fireman.  He grew to manhood at Neenah, Wis. and was always an industrious man of good habits.

 

The deceased was unmarried and leaves to mourn his loss, his mother, one brother, Earl, and a sister, Mrs. Margie McNitt; two nephews, Lewis and Bill McNitt; three nieces, Mrs. Krause, Mrs. DeWert and Mrs. Russell Arnold of Neenah; three cousins, Chester, Hugh and Hazel Neff, and their mother, Mrs. E. Neff, as well as numerous other relatives and close friends.

 

Those from out of town who attended the funeral services were Mrs. Russell Arnold and Mr. and Mrs. Bert DeWert of Neenah; Miss Hazel Neff, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Neff, Eagle River, Wis.; Miss Jean Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. George Krause, Neenah; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Wnukowski, Cadott, and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Nindorf and son Quentin of Chippewa Falls.
