Funeral services for George Ramminger, 86, for more than 60 years a resident of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), were held Monday, March 10, from St. Louis Catholic Church, the Rev. M. J. Kelnhofer officiating.  Burial was in Dorchester  Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Ramminger died March 5, 1952 at the home of his son, Arthur, where he had made his home for most of the time since Mrs. Ramminger’s death Oct. 14, 1947.

He was born March 15, 1866 in Sheboygan County and came to Dorchester in 1889, settling on a farm four and a half miles west of the village, now operated by his son, Arthur.  He and Susana Steinhauer were married March 28, 1894, and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary together in 1944.  In 1942 they moved from the farm to a house in the village where they lived until Mrs. Ramminger’s death.

Survivors include four sons, Arthur, town of Mayville, Henry, Waterloo, John, Curtiss, and Huber, Seattle, Washington; one daughter, Mary, Minneapolis, Minn.; ten grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.  One son, Anton, twin brother of Arthur, died in infancy.
