Mrs. Fox and Elsie Carter of Osseo are visiting with relatives and friends in Shortville.

 

Ray Dresden had a logging bee Thursday.

 

Percy Grace is working for W. A. Forbes in haying.

 

Robert Woodford was calling on friends here Sunday.

 

Roy Savage is home from his work in Greenwood.

 

J. R. Carter has begun haying.

 

Elden Ward was kicked quite badly by a horse Tuesday morning.

 

School closed Friday with a picnic in Tom Winter's grove.

 

Children's exercises Sunday in the church. Rev. Brown, of Marshfield, will be here at assist.

 

Bessie Frantz of Neillsville, is visiting with her grand-father and other friends here.

 

Rev. McRean was a pleasant caller at J. R. Carter's Tuesday afternoon.
