Muckerheide at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church before the altar which was beautifully decorated with bouquets of Figi mums and gladiolas, Rosella Dulek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Dulek of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Richard Alger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Alger, Sr. of Thorp. The music was furnished by the Senior choir of St. Bernard’s Parish.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown of white bridal satin and imported Chantilly lace with a cathedral length train and illusion neckline trimmed with iridescent sequins and pearls. Her veil was of illusion net trimmed with Chantilly lace, and she was wearing a rhinestone necklace which was a gift of the groom. Her bouquet consisted of fifi mums and roses.
The bridemaid, Mary Ann Gruber of St. Paul, Minn., cousin of the bride, was attired in an orchid strapless gown with a deep purple cape.
She wore a rhinestone shaped heart, a gift of the bride and her bouquet was of orchid figi mums and yellow roses.
The flower girl, Gail Burzynski, a friend of the bride, wore a gown identical to that of the bridesmaid and carried a similar bouquet. The gold cross she wore was a gift of the bride.

A wedding breakfast was served for the bridal party at the home of the bride’s parents. A reception and dinner at 12:30 was held at St. Hedwig’s Parish Hall, which was beautifully decorated with bouquets of figi mums and gladiolas for the occasion and a buffet luncheon at 4:30 for guests numbering 200.
Assisting at the reception were Mary Lou and Luella Brehn of Joliet, Ill., cousins of the bride. The wedding cake was brought from Joliet, Ill. by the bride’s godparents.
Out of town guests were present from St. Paul, Minn., Chippewa Falls, Ladysmith, Milwaukee, Owen, Gilman, Cumberland, Eau Claire, Withee, Wis., and Joliet, Ill.
