Fasse, Caroline (20 Apr. 1899 - 3 Mar. 1950)

Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Fasse, 50, who died at her home, Friday, March 3, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby, Wis. The Rev. F. P. Puhlman officiated at the rites which were followed by internment in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ervin and Vernon Wellman and Morris Mantor, Abbotsford; Edwin Grauman, Melvin and Kenneth Brehm, Colby, Wis.

The flowers were carried by the Misses Rose and Jorgene Bialkowsky, Leonice Marquardt and Elaine Schaefer.

Caroline Wellman was born April 20, 1899, in Browntown, Wis. and at the age of 10 came to the town of Johnson with her parents. On April 25, 1917, she was married to Albert Fasse in Milan. They lived on the farm near Milan until her death there, March 3, of embolism. Mrs. Fasse had been in poor health for a number of years but was seriously ill only two weeks before her death.

She is survived by her husband and their five sons, Norman, Sheboygan; Howard, at home; Sgt. Elwood, in the army; Kenneth, Milan; Arno, Medford; and a daughter, Shirley, at home.

There are four grand children, Lyle and Sharon Ann Fasse, Sheboygan; Barbara Fasse, of Milan, and Michael Fasse, of Medford.

There are also two brothers and two sisters, all of whom attended the funeral, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wellman and their son-in-law and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Brennan, Havanna, N. Dak.; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wellman, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Filter, Janesville; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schneider, Albany, Wisconsin.
