Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peterson and two daughters and Mrs. A. L. Adams were at Marshfield, Saturday.

Gilbert Fiebig, Green Bay, spent the week end with his father, H. H. Fiebig.

The third birthday anniversary of Miss Nancy Holtz was celebrated at a family dinner Saturday evening at the Ray Holtz home. Present were her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thompson, Madison, who were there for the week end; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Holtz, Abbotsford; and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Vircks, Dorchester, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Benzmann, Milan, called at the Fred Woempner home, Wednesday afternoon.

Among those from here who were at Necedah Saturday morning were Mr. and Mrs. George Vetter, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bumann, Mrs. Myron Kramer, and Mr. and Mrs. George Kelly. Mrs. Vern Steffen, who was visiting at Appleton, came with a group of ladies from there.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Panther, La Crosse, were recent guests at the Kenneth Anderson home.

Roland Haas was admitted to St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday and underwent surgery on his hand Friday. He was discharged Sunday. Mr. Haas broke a bone in his left hand Sept. 23 while filling silo on the H. C. Christensen place in Abbotsford, Wis.

Mrs. August Wiesjahn left Tuesday for Auburndale to visit her sister, who is ill, and also to visit her niece.

A family gathering is being held this evening at the Francis Melvin home. Included are John Ockerlander and daughter, Doris, and Mrs. C. M. Waterman, Wausau; Jack Ockerlander, Charlottesville, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. James E. Reed, Essex Junction, Vt.; Miss Elsie Waterman, Hollywood, California. All will leave the end of this week for their respective homes and Mrs. Waterman will go to California *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
