Miss Joan Lavonne Drake, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Drake, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Ralph Daniel Myhrman of Duluth, Minn., were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony in the Methodist Church at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, 1951, with the Rev. Lee Holmes officiating.

At the service Bert Myhrman, Duluth, Minn., cousin of the groom, sang "Because" and "The Lord's Prayer," with Mrs. Don Warner as piano accompanist.

The bride, who was presented in marriage by her father, wore a white untrained floor-length satin dress with a yoke of lace. Her fingertip veil, which fell from her headdress, was made of illusion net and she carried a crescent bouquet of white gardenias.

Mrs. Milton Snuggerude, Amery, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Her gown was fashioned of apple green taffeta, with cape, and she carried a spray of red carnations on a net muff.

Miss Ardith Weber, Durand, as bridesmaid, was gowned the same as the matron of honor and her bouquet was the same.

Herbert Myhrman, Duluth, Minn., brother of the groom, was best man, and Wendell Myhrman, another brother, was groomsman. The groom and bother attendants wore midnight blue tuxedo suits with white carnations.

William Huntzicker, cousin of the bride, and Verne Myhrman, cousin of the groom, acted as ushers.

A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony with a dinner being served there to fifty-five guests.

The bride is a graduate of the Greenwood High School with the class of 1949, and attended Stout Institute for two years. The groom graduated from Stout Industrial Arts in 1950. He is engaged as instructor of Industrial Arts in the Technical High School in St. Cloud, Minn.
