Palm, Eva (6 AUG 1851 - 1 AUG 1945)

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Palm, 93, were conducted in the Trinity Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Saturday. Mrs. Palm died of old age complications at the county hospital in Owen last week Wednesday, death coming five days before her 94th birthday.

Mrs. Palm (nee Prell) was born in Jefferson county on Aug. 6, 1851. It was there that she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Following her marriage to John Domine on Mar. 12, 1872, she continued to live in Jefferson county for 10 years, coming to the town of Loyal in January 1882.

Mr. Domine passed away on Apr. 30, 1912. On Jan. 26, 1943, his widow remarried. She married Louis Palm, who died on Oct 1, 1938. Mrs. Palm continued to farm in the Pelsdorf community, with hired help, until she reached the age of 90 years.

Two sons and three daughters survive. They are John Domine of Waterloo, Ia., Ed Domine of Loyal, Mrs. Mary Bauer of Robbinsdale, Minn., Mrs., Katherine Paasch of Minneapolis and Mrs. Effe Neipert of Waterloo, Ia. Two brothers Nick Prell of Janesville and Christ Prell of Oshkosh, 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren also survive. One son, Charles Domine, passed away on May 12, 1932.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. C. Langholz and buried in the Lutheran cemetery. Pallbearers were Nick George, Mike, William, Bernard and Matt Beaver. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. B. Beaver and Mrs. Clarence Froeba. Songs were rendered by Mrs. Ruth Noeldner and Mrs. Martha Dux.

Those from out od town who attended the funeral included Mrs. Mary Bauer of Robbinsdale, Minn.; John Domine and Mrs. Effe Neipert of Waterloo, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Domine and family of Milwaukee; Mrs. Katherine Paasch of Minneapolis; Roman and daughter of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Schilling of Weyauwega; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schwellenbach and family of Christie, and Mr. and Mrs. George Beaver of Granton.

The Tribune adds its sympathy to that of friends and neighbors to the bereaved relatives.
