Olowski, Mary Ann (16 JUN 1953)

Miss Mary Ann Olowski, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Olowski, Route 3, Stanley, became the bride of Richard Lasuik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lasuik, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp on June 16, 1953. Rev. Herbert Zoromski performed the ceremony at a ten o’clock nuptial Mass. Pink peonies and yellow iris bouquets decorated the altar.

Miss Gen Lasiuk, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and Miss Helen Lasiuk, also a sister, Miss Mary Fitzsimmons, Miss Mary Lou Olowski and Miss Stella Olowski, sister of the bride, were bridesmaids. Kathy Gwiazdon served as flower girl and Pat Fisher, cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.

The bridegroom was attended by Robert Gulczynski as best man, and Lawrence Gostomski. Chet Olocki and Hank Slowiak served as groomsmen. Bobby Olowski, brother of the bride, was junior groomsman.

A wedding breakfast was served at noon and a supper at six o’clock at the P.N.A. Hall.
