Moser, Eva Viola (25 October 1916 - 19 May 2009)

 

Eva Moser, 92, of Neillsville died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville.

 

Eva Viola Moser was born Oct. 25, 1916, in Oberon, ND, the daughter of John and Olivia Nelson. She lived her childhood and was educated in Oberon. She married Edwin Moser Sept. 12, 1936, at Devils Lake, ND. They moved to Neillsville in 1937, where she has resided since. Eva worked for 23 years as a nurse’s aide at the Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville. Edwin died in 1972.

 

In her spare time, Eva enjoyed refinishing antique furniture.

 

She is survived by two children, Caroline May (Don) Miller of Evansville, and Victor Moser of Neillsville; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hazel Dooley of Leeds, ND, and Ardel Soggie of Oberon, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin and a brother, John.

 

Funeral services for Eva were held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2009, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville with visitation one hour before the service. Pastor Douglas Bjerke officiated. Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Casketbearers were Steve Moser, Matt Miller, Jeff Miller and Rick Miller.
