Rizzi, Louise A. (16 Jan. 1946 - 8 May 2009)

Louise A. Rizzi, 63, of Marshfield died early Friday morning, May 8, 2009, at the Bethel Nursing Center, under the tender care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Christ The King Catholic Church, Spencer. The Rev. Charles Stoetzel will officiate. Burial will be in the West Spencer Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Spencer.

Mrs. Rizzi was born Jan. 16, 1946, in Chicago, the daughter of Louis and Connie (Powlowski) Rychlicki. She graduated from Austin High School in Chicago.

The former Louise Rychlicki was united in marriage on May 1, 1965, in Chicago, to Jacob E. Rizzi at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Louise also worked part time for Woolworth's Department Store and Norm's Coffee Cup.

Mrs. Rizzi was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church.

Louise cherished the time she could spend with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, cooking and baking. Her two dogs, Buddy and Kelly, and many cats also gave her pleasure.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Jacob Rizzi, Marshfield; children, Beverly (Paul) Esser, Marshfield, Greg (Eun) Rizzi, Battle Ground, Wash., Mary (Rick) Mayer, Arpin, and James Rizzi; and seven grandchildren, Tim, Brianna, Zach, Tyler, Preston, Katlin and Kristin. Many cousins further survive Louise.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mrs. Rizzi's memory may do so to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
