Ring, Alice #2 (22 JUN 1908)

Monday morning at 9:30, Rev. Burrows united in marriage Mr. Earl Zerkle and Miss Alice Ring. The wedding was a very simple one, only relatives and close friends of the bride being in attendance. The bride wore a brown traveling suit and the wedding march was played by Miss avis Ring. Just previous to the ceremony, Miss Ethel Ring sang "Constancy." Mr. and Mrs. Zerkle took the train at 11:33 for Lake Chetek where they will spend a couple weeks, after which Mr. Zerkle will resume his work on the road and his wife will accompany him for a few months. Later they will take up housekeeping in Chicago.

Mr. Zerkle is a young man of most excellent demeanor and business qualifications. He has a good position with the Columbia Phonograph Co. He has made many friends here on his numerous visits, and has impressed them all with his apparent integrity and gentlemanly demeanor. Of Mrs. Zerkle much could be said of her many pleasing characteristics, but they are so numerous that in the recital some would be missed. Suffice it to say she is of a sweet disposition, of a superior musical temperament, has not overlooked domestic attainments in maintaining a social prominence, and is one of the most popular ladies in Neillsville.
