Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Long of Janesville have returned home after a two week visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B.N. Poirier.

Mr. and Mrs. Poirier and daughter Pearl were Greenwood callers Saturday.

The town of Eaton has a large force hauling gravel on the 26 road.

Mr. and Mrs. John Demuth and Miss Florence Scherer left Wednesday morning for Dodgeville for a visit with friends and relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Quinby and two sons of Marion visited at the Herman Kalkofen home Sunday.

Cecelia Scherer spent from Friday until Sunday at the Herbert Quinby home near Globe.

Miss Irene Demuth returned home Monday, after an extended visit at Cadott and Hayward.

Mrs. Mitchel of Neillsville was a caller at the Kalkofen home Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Scherer visited at Soren Korntved's Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Quinby and little daughter were entertained at the Geo. Scherer home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh Syth were callers at Kalkofen's Sunday evening.

Mrs. Korntved's parents, who have been visiting here for some time, returned to their home in Iowa on Monday.

One of Bill Andrews' horses dropped dead in the road Tuesday while he was hauling gravel.

Mae Christie spent Sunday night with Frances Scherer.

Lin Kocher was a caller at Geo. Scherer's Sunday afternoon.

A large crowed attended the old time party at Will Syth's Thursday evening, and all report a good time.

Irene Demuth called on Christina Kalkofen Sunday afternoon.
