Dempsey, Donna M. (16 SEP 1950)

Donna Mae Dempsey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dempsey of the city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), and Lee B. Reinke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reinke of Thorp, were united in marriage in a lovely church ceremony performed in the Lutheran church at Thorp Saturday afternoon, Sept. 16, 1950. The Rev. M. K. Zimmerman officiated at the ceremony.

The bride was attractively attired in a brown suit with green accessories and wore a shoulder corsage of yellow and white roses. Her attendant, Miss Darlene Pyatt, also wore a brown suit with green accessories and a similar corsage. Attending the bridegroom was his brother Walter. Both were dressed in conventional business suits of blue.

Following the ceremony a five o’clock dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents in Owen.

The bride attended the Owen school system and her husband is a graduate of the Thorp High School with the class of 1950. He is now employed here by Master Package Corp.

Guests attending the ceremony included Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reinke and family, Mr. and Mrs. Al Beyer and family, and Mrs. H. Beyer, all of Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Pyatt, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pyatt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Thorne, Sharon Clifton, Rosella Bingham, Jenny Ehlert, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pearson and son, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Larson and family, of Owen; and Mr. and Mrs. Kahler of Gillett, Wis.
