Zimbal, Anna Marie (15 May 1880 - 22 Dec. 1944)

Internment of the body of Mrs. Albert Zimbal, 64, who died Friday, Dec. 22, following a heart attack, was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery, Wednesday afternoon. The funeral services, held at 1:30 at Lulloff’s Funeral Home at Colby, were followed at 2:00 o’clock by services in the Zion Lutheran church, of which the deceased was a member. The Rev. O. Hoffman officiated.

Pallbearers were Ewald and Walter Wiersig, Fred Schwierske, William Schwantes, Charles Zabler and Albert Bruss.

Mrs. Zimbal was born Anna Marie Marquardt, May 15, 1880, in Sheboygan. After her marriage there May 20, 1905, to Albert Zimbal, the young couple came to their farm east of Abbotsford where they lived together until the time of her unexpected death Friday.

Mrs. Zimbal had suffered a stroke and death followed within a couple of hours.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Meta, at home, and one son, Alfred, of Route 1, Abbotsford, and two grand children.

A sister, Mrs. Emma Fitense, of Rt. 1, Abbotsford, and two brothers, Richard and Hugo Marquardt, of Sheboygan Falls, also survive.
