Larson, Helen (Marriage - 24 June 1944)

Mrs. Lars Larson announces the marriage of her daughter, Helen, to Sgt. Kenneth Kramer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kramer, of Montfort, Wis., on Saturday afternoon, June 24, at 2:00 o’clock at the Evangelical Lutheran church at Curtiss.

The marriage ceremony was read by the Rev. G. E. Borreson in the presence of the immediate family and friends.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Rheel, of Stanley.

Following the ceremony a wedding reception for the immediate families was held at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thompson, Curtiss.

Among the guests from away were the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kramer and his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kramer, of Montfort, and Mrs. Malcolm Larson and two children, Wausau.

Sgt. and Mrs. Larson left on a few days’ honeymoon to northern Wisconsin.

The bride, who attended Stout Institute at Menomonie, and Central State Teacher’s College, at Stevens Point, taught home economics at Withee and at Eau Claire.

The groom is with the Signal Corps at Drew Field, Tampa, Fla. Before entering the service he was vocational agriculture instructor at Withee.
