NEILLSVILLE -- Wayne Holden, 68, of Neillsville, died Monday, March 30, 2009, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.

Wayne Leroy Holden was born March 8, 1941, in White Creek, the son of William and Emma (Gerard) Holden. He farmed in Levis township, worked for Nelson Muffler, Figi's and drove semi-truck for Smith Transport in Loyal.

He is survived by his children, DuWayne, Sharon, Sandy, Darrell, David and Brian; many grandchildren; two brothers, John and Bill; and a sister, Norma Rogney.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
