Tompkins, Kenneth (1897? - 2 APR 1950)

Monday, Arnold, Fred and William Hoeper left for Brookfield, Ill., where they attended the funeral services conducted Wednesday, April 5, for their brother-in-law, Kenneth Tompkins.

Mr. Tompkins, a resident of this community (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) for many years prior to his moving to Illinois about 14 years ago, passed away Sunday morning. Death was attributed to a heart condition. He suffered attack on Wednesday, Friday and on Saturday of last week.

He was 52 years of age.

Kenneth Tompkins spent his boyhood in this community as he lived on a farm just north of the city. He married Elizabeth Hoeper, who survives him, as do four children, Richard, Jean, Joan and Mrs. (Lea) Dick Martin, one sister, Mrs. (Marie) MacAfee, and his mother, Mrs. Charles Tompkins.
