Miss Pettis and Miss Emberson had supper with Miss Edna Kokaly Monday evening.

H. Quast transacted business in Greenwood Monday p.m.

Miss Vida Pettis spent Thursday evening at the Frank Schwab home.

Mrs. Campbell and daughter Jeanne attended church in Greenwood Sunday and visited at the Mrs. F. Andrews home.

Mr. H. Wegner, A. Gartland, J. Zallar Jr. attended the show in Greenwood Friday evening.

G. Campbell Mr. and Mrs. Ingham were Greenwood shoppers Friday.

Little Eileen Thompson has been on the sick list the past week, having had La Grippe and tonsillitis.

Miss Naomi Emberson spent the weekend visiting home folks near Greenwood.

Mr. H. Wegner and A. Gartland drove to Marshfield Sunday.

Mr. Gartland was rudely awakened from a nap about 8:00 o'clock Tuesday evening, April 13th by a number of his friends to remind him of his birthday. It proved to be a real surprise party. Mrs. Campbell was hostess of the occasion and proved her ability in that capacity in every way. The evening was spent in card playing and dancing, with Mr. P. Morn generously contributing the music. The guests were: Mr. and Mrs. H. Quast, Mrs. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. H. Neuman, Mr. and Mrs. F. Backus, Misses M. Bayuk, G. Bayuk, G. Kosel, Naomi Emberson, Vida Pettis, Eva Zallar, Mildred Clair, Elizabeth Clair, Carrie Godec, Sally Ocheak, Messrs. J. Zallar Jr., Herbert Wegner, Ralph Hintz, Roland Hintz, Joe Bayuk, Joe Godec and Paul Morn. After a delightful lunch and birthday cake had been consumed. Mr. Gartland was presented with a handsome purse and best wishes for all.
