Quite a number of children are out of school this week with the mumps.

Mr. and Mrs. John Kampher took dinner at the Dakin's home Sunday.

Miss Nelda Windom spent one afternoon last week at the Flikke home.

Mrs. Paris Rand is home taking care of her mother who is ill.

Mrs. Thorson is better at this writing.

The Vinger family leave this week for their new home in Greenwood. They have bought the Clarence Aberg place.

Etta Markee spent Sunday at home.

The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Art Flikke on Wednesday afternoon, April 14th.

Mr. Cronin hauled cheese last week.

Mrs. Barnes called at the Welsh home Friday a.m.

It is rumored the snow plow is coming through Hemlock. We hope so.

Watch for notice of food sale to be held at the Allard Store the 10th of April.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schmidt spent a week ago Sunday at the Joe Schwarz home.

The schrivari and shower on Mr. and Mrs. John Kampher was held at the Dakin home Friday night owing to sickness at the Vinger home. Quite a crowd! After a treat and lunch we all adjourned to our homes wishing this new couple many years of happy wedded life.

Edwin Finkle went to town Monday in the buggy, as the snow is mostly gone off the road.

Richard Marek went to Thorp Saturday to have his horse treaded. Geo. Dakin did chores that day.
