Pedersen, Elaine (MAY 1949)

At a lovely wedding ceremony performed at Central Lutheran Church of Minneapolis last week Elaine Pederson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Pedersen, Minneapolis, became the bride of William Blunck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Blunck, also of Minneapolis.

The bride wore a grey gabardine suit with blue accessories and a corsage of red roses and lilies of the valley. Attending her as matron of honor was Sylvia Mac Guin. She wore a matching suit of green with brown accessories.

Attending the bridegroom as best man was his brother, James.

The bride’s mother wore a blue silk print dress for the occasion and had a corsage of gardenias and lilies of the valley. The groom’s mother chose a dress of navy blue crepe and wore a corsage of red rose buds and white carnations.

Immediately following the three o’clock ceremony a reception for the immediate members of the two families was held at the Curtiss Hotel.

The couple enjoyed a wedding trip through Illinois and southern Wisconsin. They will make their future home in Minneapolis where both of the young people are employed by the Industrial Lumber Co.
