Neillsville Area Locals (13 May 1971)
Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Ross of New York, former Humbird residents, are visiting at the Clarence Clausen home in Neillsville. The Ross’ are also visiting with the Bemis family at Humbird and with friends in other cities. They will go to Minnesota while here and then to Iowa. On their way home they will visit in Indiana, Ohio, and New Jersey. Mrs. Clausen will accompany them as far as Oshkosh.
Lewis Kaudy of the Town of Eaton left last week Monday for the Veterans’ Hospital at Madison where he is to undergo surgery. He is in Ward 7.
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Hauge moved over the weekend from an apartment in Neillsville to their new home in the Town of York. They have purchased the former R. Shaw place.
Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kieser, and sons spent Mother’s Day at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Kieser, in Abbotsford. Many other members of the Kieser family were also present.
Dinner and supper guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Greeler were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Greeler and family of Wisconsin Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Beilke and family of Granton.
Guests Sunday at the max Lukas home were her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Anderson and daughter, Nancy, of Black River Falls. Guests at the Lukas home Monday and Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. John Novacek of Oakbrook, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Schroeder have returned to Kenosha after spending several days with relatives. They were house guess of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sternitzky.
Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Marie Keller were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pankau and daughters, Karen and Linda, of Oshkosh; their daughter, Barbara, and a friend, who attend college at Stout University; Mr. and Mr. Ray Paulson, Miss Johanna Blum, Mrs. Paul Blum, Mr and Mrs. Wendel Ott and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Simenson, Lisa, Tim and Dan Potter, all of Neillsville.
