Jacque, Hance (24 JUN 1879 - 2 OCT 1951)

Hance Jacque, an old resident of the Town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at the hospital at Stanley on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 1951. He had reached the age of 72 years 4 months and 9 days.. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning, Oct. 6th at 9:30 o’clock at St. Bernard’s Church. An obituary will be published next week.

Hance Jacque of Thorp passed away at the Victory Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning at 10:45, Oct. 2, 1951, at the age of 72 years, 4 months, 9 days. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Jacque and was born in Port Washington, Wis. At the age of 29 he came to Thorp and settled on a farm south of town.

He was united in marriage to Justina Wink, Sept. 8, 1908. They were engaged in farming.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Bernard at home, Anton of Thorp; one daughter, (Lucy) Mrs. LeRoy Brenner of Thorp; also six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Joe Gengler of Thorp; 4 brothers, Nick of Mandon, N.D., John, Matt of Port Washington, and Henry of Thorp. Two sons and two daughters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted at St. Bernard’s Church here on Saturday, Oct. 6th by Rev. Father Muckerheide. He was laid to rest in the parish cemetery at Thorp.

Pallbearers were: George Schmidt, Frank Swienton, John Budzinski, Joe Grajkowski, And. Jasinski and Ed Ramberg.

Jacque and Mrs. Alex Kas, all of Port Washington, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. James Gengler, Calvary, Wis.; Mrs. Harold Hansen and family, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shortell, Vesper, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Quell, Greenwood, Wm. Zielinski, Chicago; Mrs. Bob Huff, Mansan, N.D.; Mrs. Elizabeth Peters, Kimberly, Wis.; Joe Wink, Neillsville, Wis.
