Broeren, Ardis C. (1 SEP 1951)

Miss Ardis Corinne Broeren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Broeren, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), wore a mink brown suit with bronze colored accessories and a corsage of bronze daisy pompons Saturday Sept. 1, 1951, as she repeated nuptial vows with Richard L. Rubisch, also of Thorp.

The Rev. A. M. Muckerheide read the rites in St. Bernard’s Church, Thorp, at 9 a.m. Mr. Broeren gave his daughter in marriage.

Mrs. George Tamm, Thorp, served as the bride’s attendant, wearing a suit of hunter’s green with cinnamon accessories. Bronze daisy pompons formed her corsage.

Donald Rubisch, Thorp, served as his brother’s attendant. They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rubisch, Thorp.

A breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, and the immediate families attended a dinner at 1 p.m. at the Woodland Hotel in Owen and an evening buffet supper at the Broeren home.

Following a wedding trip to northern Michigan, Mr. and Mrs. Rubisch will make their home in Madison.
