Young, Keith William (30 August 1965 - 3 February 2009) With Flag

Keith Young, 43, of Neillsville died Tuesday Feb. 3, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Keith William Young was born Aug. 30, 1965, in Milwaukee, the son of Lynne (Fischer) Young. He attended school in Milwaukee and Campbellsport and then enlisted in the United States Army. After his discharge, he returned to Campbellsport and worked as a mechanic at various jobs in the area. In 1994, he met his wife-to-be, Amie. They moved to Neillsville in 1997, where he worked for Kwik Trip and Egle Tire in Neillsville and Wal-Mart in Marshfield before attending technical school in Wisconsin Rapids for diesel mechanic. In 2002, he and Amie were united in marriage. Keith was currently employed at Bautch’s Repair as a mechanic.

In his spare time Keith loved ice fishing and riding his motorcycle. He also threw darts and was a member of the dart league.

He is survived by his wife, Amie; a son Levi Young of Neillsville; a son, Zachary Lueck of Neillsville; a daughter, Tabbitha Lueck of Neillsville; a granddaughter, Keilie of Neillsville; his mother, Lynne Young of Neillsville; his grandmother, June Fischer of Neillsville; a brother, Daniel (Rebecca Graf) Young and their daughter, Crystal of Oshkosh. Keith is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny and his grandfather, William Fischer.

A Memorial Service for Keith was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at the American Legion in Neillsville.

The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Keith’s family with arrangements.
