Mundt, Amelia (27 October 1896 - 23 February 1971)

Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Mundt, 84, of Rt. 1 Chili, who died February 23, in Neillsville are to be held Friday, February 26, at 2 p.m. from Immanuel United Methodist Church in Chili with the Rev. Lloyd L. McCormick officiating. Burial is to be in the Yolo Cemetery. The body of Mrs. Mundt will be in state at the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton beginning at 10 a.m. today (Thursday) until noon on Friday when it will be taken to the church to lie in state up to the time of services.

Mrs. Mundt, the former Amelia Pischer, was born October 27, 1896, in the Town of Grant. Her marriage to Charles Mundt took place in Marshfield on July 4, 1904. They farmed in the Town of Fremont. Mr. Mundt preceded her in death on December 31, 1957.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond of Chili, and Lemont and Clarence, both of Yakima, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Portz of Pittsvill; five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Philmore Pischer of Marshfield.
