Funeral services for Philip G. Capelle, 75, of Loyal, who died at Memorial Home in Neillsville on February 22, were to be held this (Thursday) morning at 11 a.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. The Rev. William Humlie was to officiate, with burial to be in the Lutheran cemetery. The Roycraft Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

After leaving the service he worked on his brother’s farm. Following his December 22, 1921 marriage to the former Martha Blads, he farmed in Clark County until his retirement 10 years ago.

During his lifetime, Mr. Capelle was a member of the Dodgeville district school board, a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and of its Brotherhood and served as the church financial secretary.
