Granton (11 February 1971)

Dinner guests Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennak were to be Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dahnert of Rialto, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Reding of Oshkosh.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Pietenpol spent Thursday until Saturday noon at the home of their daughter, Elaine Walters, in Marshfield. On their way home the Pietenpols and Mrs. Walters visited with Mrs. Elmer Bender in Loyal.

The W.S.C.S. of the Granton United Methodist Church met last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Clarence Ganther.

Guess at the Ollie Poler home Saturday evening in honor of Mr. Poler’s birthday were Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Fields and Lloyd Poler.

Mrs. Edna Jahnke fell Friday evening on the ice and broke her hip. She is in Memorial Hospital at Neillsville.

Mrs. Frederick Garbisch is a surgical patient at the hospital in Marshfield. She had surgery last Wednesday.

Mrs. Lloyd Spry is expecting her daughter, Mrs. Charles Anderson and sons of Wild Rose, to arrive Tuesday for a few days’ visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dahl visited Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Verla Hales.

Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Moh were visitors Sunday at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Harris of Winona.
