Frank, Loren Jim (2 March 1884 - 27 January 1971)

Funeral service for Loren Jim Frank, 86, of Memorial Home, who died January 27, were held Saturday, January 30, at 3 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Melvin Nickel of the united Methodist Church officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Loren Frank was born March 2, 1884, in Neillsville, the son of Leonard L. and Alice (Bowers) Frank. He was educated in the township of Weston and lived there most of his lifetime. His marriage to Nancy Shaw took place in Neillsville in 1927. She preceded him in death in 1938. Mr. Frank entered Memorial Home last year.

Survivors include two step-children, Mrs. Perry (Genevieve) Hahm, of Lindsey, and Clifford Shaw of Milwaukee. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Bernice Reynolds of St. Croix Falls, and a brother, Francis Frank of Redding, Calif.

Pallbearers for Mr. Frank were Anton Meihack, William Meihack, William Lueck, Ted Stiemke, Ervin Hemp, and Julius Hagedorn. Kendall Smith sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “In the Garden,” accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

People from out of town who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Perry Hahm of Lindsey, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Meihack and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Dimler of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Neal Reynolds of Amery, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reynolds of Milltown, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Shaw and Mr and Mrs. Roy Beckman of Black River Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. Orin Janke and Virginia of Humbird.
