Mr. Flikke Sr. and nephew and lady friend of Viroqua, the Gody family, Nelda and Elmer Windom spend Sunday at the Flikke home.

The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Geo. Rude on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 14th. Bring your scissors and thimbles to finish quilt.

Silo filling and threshing are in this neighborhood.

Edna Markee helped her mother cook for silo fillers Wednesday.

Quite a lot of apple peddlers around now a days.

A meeting was held at the schoolhouse to consider buying the cheese factory. The Humke boys are going to buy the factory, as they are in sympathy with the federation.

We wish to thank the school board for giving their consent for us to use the schoolhouse for the pie social. Proceeds were $7.70. Not a very good crowd.

Carl Olson and lady friends spent Friday night at the Vinger home.

Mrs. V. Krokson's sister and children are visiting at the Krokson home.

Mrs. Kepke returned from Oshkosh last Thursday evening.

Mr. Perman had the misfortune to lose a horse last week.

Frank Ditton boasts the best corn in the neighborhood.

Mrs. Fricke and daughter autoed up from Beloit to see Mrs. Rand.

Geo. Dakins is visiting relatives and friends at Stevens Point.

Edna Markee is spending a few weeks at home.

Mrs. Welsh called at the Ernest Krokson home Sunday.
