Garvin, Ruby (25 DEC 1905)

A pretty society wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garvin west of this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) on Christmas evening, Dec. 25th, 1905, when their beloved daughter, Miss Ruby, was united in marriage to William Eastburn of Chicago, Rev. A. R. Rice officiating.

The bride is a young lady who has grown to womanhood in this city and has an admiring host of friends.

Mr. Eastburn has been ehre but a short time, but has made many friends during his stay.

The house was a scene of much gaiety. The ceremony was beautiful and impressive. The bridesmaid was Miss Bessie Tifft, a very dear friend and companion of the bride. Archie Garvin, the bride’s brother, acted as best man.

The wedding march was delightfully rendered by Alfred Marth and all in all it was a pleasurable event for those having the good fortune to be present. A bounteous wedding supper was served, after which the newly wedded couple left for Chicago on the midnight limited, amid a shower of rice and best wishes. They will reside in Chicago where the groom is a bookkeeper, having been employed some time since by Swift & Co.

The Times wishes to congratulate the groom on his excellent choice.
