Dekarske, Betty Lou (Marriage - 19 Sept. 1959)

Miss Betty Lou Dekarske, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dekarske of Colby, Route 2, and Donald William Wolf, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Wolf of Dorchester, Route 1, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, Sept. 19, in St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Green Grove, Rev. Howard Timmermann officiating at the ceremony.

The church altar was decorated with white daisies and pink chrysanthemums. Mrs. Howard Timmermann sang "The Lord’s Prayer" and "O Promise Me."

A white velvet hat and accessories were worn by the bride with her street dress in candy pink styled with a scoop neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. Her corsage was of a yellow-throated white orchid, and lily-of-the-valley tied with white ribbon.

Miss Barbara Anderson of New Lisbon, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor and was escorted by Jerroll Wolf of Dorchester, brother of the groom. Miss Anderson wore a turquoise brocaded satin dress with three-quarter length sleeves and a scoop neckline. White accessories and a corsage of pink tea roses and white carnations complemented her dress.

Robert Dekarske and Donald Harder ushered wedding guests.

The wedding reception supper was held in Colby’s Tavern, in Unity, Wis. After a wedding trip to the west coast, Mr. and Mrs. Wolf will reside on his farm in Dorchester, Wis.
