Waldo Maricle of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Eva Vapnar of Waukegan, were united in marriage July 23, 1949, at Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Joseph Kelly reading the marriage vows. Eva is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Vapnar of 709 Lennox, Ave., Waukegan, and Waldo is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Maricle of Thorp, Wis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father in a double ring ceremony. She wore a white satin gown with a lace bodice and a train. Her veil was of full length with a beaded tiara and trimmed in Chantilly lace. Pink roses and lilies of the valley were her flowers.

Maid of honor, Miss Ruth Meier, was gowned in yellow net and taffeta with yellow net mitts and a braided tiara. Junior bridesmaid, Mary Ann Vapnar, wore a blue net taffeta gown with blue mitts and a braided tiara. Bridesmaids were the Misses Gladys Michur and Lorraine Janezic. They wore gowns of chartreuse and pink respectively.

The bride is a graduate of Waukegan Township High School.

A reception was held at the Forty and Eight Club and dinner was given for the immediate party at the 1032 Club in North Chicago.

After their honeymoon the young couple will be at home on July 29th.
